Another wonderful account of life in Andalucia. 😍 Go the Jacaranda!! 💜 I feel a 'need' to go to a "sardine dinner auction"! 👏 We hope to visit again next May . If you are in Cromwell anytime soon, pop in to say hi in person. You'll have missed the glorious autumn colours by now but the sunrises are spectacular at the moment. Enjoy family time.
We had an apartment in Nerja for many years and this brought back so many memories of the sights, sounds and tastes of Andalucia. We used to call El Tinentero 'the singing restaurant' because when all the waiters were in full voice it sounded like a choral performance. Thanks for bringing it all to life!
I really enjoyed this post and even more so after just having been in Malaga. How great that we both wrote about its joys. I wish I'd known more about the ecological benefits of the jacaranda trees; I would have personally thanked them.
I'll use this post for planning excursions next spring to Andalucia. So many delightful events are happening; I'm glad to have this handy guide to help me choose places and activities, particularly for the spring ferias in Jerez and Cordoba.
I hope you're having a wonderful time in New Zealand.
Thanks so much Andrea, that’s lovely to hear! I didn’t get this newsletter out in enough time to cover the Cruces de Mayo in Granada at the start of May, but that’s very much on my wishlist for next year (I’ve never been). It’s also a big deal in Córdoba so maybe I can squeeze that in too - the FOMO is real 😅
I’m actually visiting was over at Costa Del Sol have been all over but can’t see it all. So so beautiful. Am over in Sevilla flying home tomorrow 😢 I love it here

Thanks so much Adrienne! 🥰

Sights, sounds and tastes - it’s such a multi sensory kind of a place, isn’t it! I love Nerja, I’ve got some content about it coming up 😊

I have a serious case of FOMO too sometimes and your post only made me sicker :).
We had a great time in Malaga. Lovely place. Hopefully, the next time I'm there, we can get together.
Beautiful

Oh fantastic! How are the jacarandas in Seville? I’ve seen some lovely photos and videos this year
Beautiful the city is blooming and I didn’t know the name of them and the flowers fall so even the ground is purple. Such a beautiful purple!
